The Governor’s Café is a much-loved part of the Old Castlemaine Gaol Precinct.

Many in the Castlemaine community already know the feeling of this place. The outlook. The quiet. The sense of pause it offers within the walls of the site. We’re taking care to reopen the café in a way that respects both its history and its role as a gathering place.
